Hidden Valley Inn is no exception. Nestled in the Mountain Pine Ridge of Belize, Hidden Valley sits on 7,200 acres of protected forest. It is filled with natural beauty; from pine trees, to jungle paths, waterfalls, and even secret pools... you can find it all here.
Romance is abundant, and this beautiful couple decided to take advantage of the natural beauty. The bride wanted a simple, yet elegant Belize wedding affair with an amazing backdrop. Her wish was easily made possible at this enchanting property. They said their vows hidden inside the forest, with the sounds of a cascading waterfall and miles of untouched forest in the background.
She walked down the trail to meet her groom in a breathtaking custom dress by local designer, Rebecca Stirm. There was not a dry eye in the house when the couple finally said the ‘I do’s’, between two pine trees draped with burlap fabric.
The talented Efrain Gomez took spectacular photos of the event, and then was guided around the property to capture the sunset photos of the bride and groom. One of the best parts….before the ceremony the couple hiked down to the captivating Butterfly Falls, and took the first look while surrounded by dense jungle and a waterfall that could be out of a romance movie.
After the jungle nuptials, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers around the pool. Dinner was served in the lodges cozy and amazingly romantic dinning room with lots of candles and touches of sparkle. Guests enjoyed the mouth watering dishes by the resident chef, Chef Wayne….and there was not a crumb on any plate!
After cake cutting, and some champagne toasts…the guests danced the night away in the hotel lobby. Although many brides choose to get married on the beaches of Belize, there is something incredibly magical and romantic about the often forgotten jungles.
Romance and magic are easy when the views are so stunning. Another beautiful Belize Wedding! A big thanks to Brit, Wayne and the fantastic staff at Hidden Valley Inn, for making it all possible.
