Kelli and Dominic: Formal Island Wedding

Caye Caulker, Belize

With the spectacular backdrop of the Caribbean Sea, sand beneath their toes and a picture perfect sunset Kelli and Dominic tied the knot in beautiful Caye Caulker, Belize. This unique sunset beach in Belize offers wedding guests an unforgettable night. Getting married in Belize has many options. Kelli and Dom chose the small island of Caye Caulker for their wedding ceremony and reception. Who doesn’t love a perfect sunset destination wedding in Belize!

The festive wedding party wore bright emerald green and cobalt blue. Groomsmen, looking dapper in their suspenders and bowties, strutted the aisle in Caribbean style. Kelli’s elegant strapless white dress sparkled in the sunlight as she was escorted to meet her groom. Walking the aisle to the tune of a live violin and guitar duo she stunned her friends and family with her smile and beauty. This wedding party was full of energy, laughs and clearly happy to be celebrating their friends.

Kelli chose gold and purple details to round out her color pallet creating a striking beach reception. Our favorite detail was her lighted clips with each guest’s name. She had each person to use her instant polaroid to take a picture of themselves, then attach it to the clip with their name! It made for a fun piece of wedding decor.

Private catering by Chef Sean Kuylen was nothing short of authentic Belizean cuisine. Cooked fresh over open flames right on the beaches of Belize, Sean and his team pulled together a feast for a king – whole roast pig! Accompanied by fresh hand made tortillas, locally sourced farm to table pico de gallo and salsas this meal was a hit with the wedding party.

Fueled up and ready to dance the night away DJ Dzl kicked up the party and kept the guests dancing in the sand for hours. The energy and happiness of the couple and their guests can truly be felt through their photographs, courtesy of Efrain Gomez from Leonardo Melendez Photography.

Congratulations Kelli and Dom!
