Family Love at Caracol: Arlene and Michael

Caracol

Arlene and Michael’s wedding day captured all of the alluring qualities an exotic elopement has to offer: quiet, intimate, and full of love, all blending seamlessly with the lush nature surrounding. This blissful celebration was held amongst historic Mayan ruins in the middle of the ancient rainforest, one of Belize’s many iconic wedding spots. There is something incredibly beautiful about a wedding day focused only on your immediate loved-ones, no distractions, “just the three of us.”

The whole day flowed harmoniously, starting with the peaceful morning at the gorgeous private villa, where Arlene, Michael and their lovely daughter enjoyed the broad-leaf jungle flourishing all around them. Arlene’s halter-neck dress was absolutely breathtaking, with floral lace embroideries and an open back. Her daughter, rocking a matching lily-white dress and sparkling headband, was looking extra chic. The fabulous duo had us all gushing over their wedding inspired mother/daughter goals. Of course, Michael looked exquisite in his pearl-white vest and pastel-blue blouse underneath, with a small red flower propped over his chest. It was the first day of the rest of their lives together and they couldn’t have looked more stunning.

The mystical blend of sky-high temples and bright green hues of the rainforest surrounding makes saying “I do” an other-worldly experience. Arlene and Michael said their vows as the soft tones of summer-blue and honey-gold sunlight illuminated their faces, and their little one flitted around with a tropical bouquet of local blooms that nearly matched her in size. The mysteriously beautiful stone labyrinth provides jaw-dropping photo opps, and the euphoric newlyweds took full advantage. Arlene and her daughter’s inspiring photoshoot, captured by Monica Gallardo, embodied the organic and timeless beauty of motherhood. After an afternoon of teary love notes and epic scenery, the cosmic trio enjoyed an evening filled with bubbly, cupcakes and the melodious tunes of mother-nature. The entire day was a timeless treasure.
