Kyle & Bailey: Mr. & Mrs. Bond
“Are you guys the dancers?” And that’s how this super fun, filled with tons of laughter wedding started! We arrived at the venue, a beautiful and picturesque lagoon front vacation home, and were greeted by beautiful bridesmaids dancing on the dock celebrating the funnest bride ever… not a care in the world and just pure fun and happiness. Immediately we knew this wedding was going to be one to remember with lots of fun, laughter, dancing and more fun… what better way to start off the new year!!!
The morning of the wedding started off with a bright, golden sunrise shining across the lagoon waters and radiating off the many mountain tops, this was the perfect location for a destination wedding, the best of both worlds…the Caribbean Sea and the Belize Cockscomb Mountains as the backdrop. Setting up this wedding was pure excitement; a jungle by the beach themed lagoon view ceremony with a driftwood arch draped with wild green vines and pops of white flowers. Wooden chairs, pineapple and palm leaves aisle decor and a rustic burlap runner with white flower petals for the finishing touches. On the adjacent side was the reception area. Wooden chairs, round tables, ivory linens and uniquely fun and beautiful pineapple floral arrangement centerpieces. Lots of outdoor lights strung across the entire reception area, facing the lagoon and the wooden dock, left the entire venue looking enchanting and magical.
The guests started arriving about 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony where they were greeted with a fully stocked welcome bar and personalized souvenir beer koozies. As guests started to mingle and anticipate the start of the ceremony we were busy in the bride’s quarters as finishing touches were being done to her hair and makeup. The handsome groom was ready and waiting for his lovely bride to do their first look. First look was breathtaking. The bride climbed up to the roof top floor overlooking the lagoon and the mountain view was magnificent. Her handsome groom was waiting with a gift in hand. They both exchanged gifts, laughed and cried, it was a perfect moment.
The ceremony was even more magical, guests were holding back tears of joy as the couple exchanged their vows and rings. Short and sweet, Kyle and Bailey were now Mr. and Mrs. Bond. The happily married couple kissed and ran down the aisle laughing and shouting in pure happiness. We knew the wedding party was about to begin. Sunset portraits and cocktail hour set the tone for the night… PARTY! The happy couple made their grand entrance to their reception as the energized guests clapped and cheered them on. A delicious and eye catching taco buffet spread was ready to be devoured by all. The happy couple started the buffet line followed by their guests. Speeches and champagne toasts flowed during dinner time and cake was definitely the best part! A bit of rain clouds tried to stop the dancing and partying after the dinner but that didn’t happen. The dancing was moved inside until the drizzle stopped but by then no one cared if they got wet. The DJ was well secured inside and the speakers were loud and booming. Everyone was happily dancing and drinking which made the night perfect for Mr. and Mrs. Bond!
