Shannon & Armand: Private Island Nuptials

Goff’s Caye

What do you think of when you imagine a tropical destination wedding? For Shannon and Armand, they thought of white sand, turquoise water, palm tress, and a private island that you can only dream about.

To this date, this is one of our favorite locations, and our vendors defiantly agree! The couple started the day preparing in their beachfront thatch roof cabana at St. George’s Caye Lodge. A professional hair and make-up team came by boat from Belize City to help the bride look her best (which wasn’t hard!), and Armand spent the day relaxing and sipping on cocktails.

Once the party was ready, they boarded a small boat and headed off to another island (photographers in tow). The scenic boat ride took only 30 minutes, and was well worth the wait! An island you would see in a movie awaited….and it was beyond amazing .

The bride and groom got dressed on-site, and a personal chef fired up the grill and began a private beachside BBQ menu. After choosing a beautiful white piece of sand that jutted into the warm turquoise water, we were ready.

Shannon was walked down the sand by her mom and dad. The day couldn’t have been more amazing, with a soft cool breeze blowing. After the vows were said, a champagne toast and lunch followed. The day finished with one of the most amazing photo shoots, and the group then sailed back into the sunset.
