The two gorgeous brides added their own unique flair to their outfits. After the finishing touches, Erica dazzled everyone in a white, flowing strapless dress with diamond bling fastened around the centre. She had her hair in a stylish low bun with pearl earrings and and rose lips. Elizabeth rocked a sky blue blazer and white pants suit with a loose white tie. One of our favourite wedding moments is when the two star-struck lovers surprise each other, and this one was definitely for the books. Both Erica and Elizabeth had bouquets of local blooms bursting with yellows and pinks and whites, flawlessly designed by a local florist. The aisle was lined with vintage style lanterns accented with green foliage and a crimson red bloom growing out of the centre. The altar was completely wrapped in overlapping vines, and the outer corners were engulfed in enormous, spiky leaves carving out the deep blue sky. The beach inspired colour scheme of blue, peach and beige blended seamlessly with the natural beauty surrounding, and the little details, such as treasured photos, a guest-signed jigsaw puzzle, and mini chalk-board direction signs added to the ceremony’s unique charm. Erica and Elizabeth said their i do’s in front of a teary eyed crowd with the vast blue water shimmering behind them.
After the ceremony, Erica and Elizabeth seized those perfect sunset moments and walked out onto the pier. The late afternoon sunlight turned them both into silhouettes as they enjoyed the profound calm of the breeze gliding over the water. After the stars began to fill up the sky, everyone dined beneath palm trees and lights glistening with amber. The chefs pulled out all the stops to create an epic locally sourced buffet-style dinner, including fresh salads, grilled fish, and tamales. Everything was served on wooden carvings, giving the dining room an ‘organic luxury’ aesthetic. We set up a table draped in sparkling blue linens with lots of candles to compliment the gorgeous cake that perfectly matched their exotic bouquets. Everyone sipped on mai tai’s, rum punch, and bubbly as family and friends warmed the evening with soul-stirring speeches, followed by a night of dance circles and pool parties beneath a full moon.
