Rowan and Kimberley: Adventure Calling

Mountain Pine Ridge

All the way from Australia, Kimberley and Rowan made the long journey to elope in beautiful Belize. Who could blame them? With the most picturesque background of Butterfly Falls, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. A small team of vendors helped create a natural looking day, and made sure Kimberley and Rowan were perfectly taken care of!

Kimberley’s day started with spa time, at the new spa and salon located at Hidden Valley Inn. The lodge sits nestled in 7200 private acres of forest reserve. The boutique hotel only has 12 rooms, and are known for their attention to detail. After her spa services, she was pampered by professional hair and makeup services provided by our friend Timz.

Once she was looking her best, we arranged a private ‘first-look’ and the team then prepared to go to the falls. The falls is not for the faint of heart. You must trek 30 minutes into the jungle to arrive at the location, but Kimberley and Rowan were up for the challenge. In order to keep her dress looking perfect, Kimberley chose to hike in her cloths and change in a makeshift changing booth. The amazing manager at the hotel, Gladness, was eager to help and arranged for a ‘safari’ type booth to be set-up on location for the bride.

When the couple were ready, a small ceremony took place followed by a champagne toast and lots of beautiful pictures by the talented Monica Gallardo. After everything was complete, they hiked out of the jungle and enjoyed cake cutting, and an amazing upgraded hotel room, compliments of Hidden Valley Inn.
