Brittnee & Jared: Enchanting Rainforest Ceremony at Butterfly Falls
A winter fairytale wedding in the heart of the Belizean rainforest? Yes, please! This ceremony had us swooning over every last detail, including golden mahogany tabletops, exotic palm-leaf arrangements and enchanted groves. From beginning to end, this ceremony was brimming with natural beauty, stylish decor, and timeless love, beautifully captured by Monica Gallardo. Brittnee and Jared could not have picked a more magical place to say their I do’s, and our adventurous and creative team of love enthusiasts made their vision a reality.
There is nothing like the cool, mystical mornings in the Hidden Valley jungle, especially when there is a wedding involved. Brittnee had that fresh wedding day glow as she sipped champagne with her bridesmaids. She was an absolute showstopper in her mermaid gown with a bouquet of white orchids. Her lush, curly hair was tied back with a gorgeous diamond pin and her diamond-drop earrings pulled everything together wonderfully. Brittnee’s bridesmaids wore rose pink dresses that complimented her beautifully. From light-coloured attire to dense bouquets of palm leaves and roses, we loved the combination of rich earth tones and soft pastels. Jared looked so classy in an all-white tux and maple brown shoes, and the two of them together looked nothing short of ethereal.
Imagine hiking beneath the towering rainforest canopy, stepping over colossal roots while your gorgeous gown trails behind you, and eventually the trees open up to an enchanted grove with a waterfall cascading into a foggy green lagoon. Even after their epic adventure, Brittnee and Jared still managed to look absolutely flawless. The gorgeous couple exchanged vows while the waterfall roared gently in the background with the mist dusting their skin. The striking, earthy colour palette of the forest floor, the vines, the cliff-face, the palms and the shimmering lagoon complemented the salmon-pink, vanilla-white and rose-coloured ensembles. Can you say picture perfect?
Just when we thought the colour scheme couldn’t get any more beautiful, Brittnee and Jared designed a reception that gave us rustic vibes with a modern, stylish twist. From thick copper lanterns to cobblestone floors, to mahogany tables, every last detail was glazed with candlelight. Each table was adorned with transparent triangular vases with golden trims, and pink hibiscuses delicately placed in each one. The table’s centrepiece was designed with a stunning arrangement of banana leaves, split leaves, and areca palms with golden wine bottles and slender candles that glistened beneath a canopy draped in fairy lights. The entire day was truly a dream, and we couldn’t be happier for the wonderful newlyweds!
