Kristina and Casey

Hidden Valley Inn

Kristina and Casey decided to tie the knot in the heart of the Belizean rainforest. The venue took place at the Hidden Valley Inn, a lavish and intimate resort located in the Mountain Pine Ridge area of the Cayo District of Belize. The inn is set inside an exotic reserve abundant in a diverse range of plants, animals and landscapes. With stunning Victorian style architecture, a cozy atmosphere, and flourishing gardens, the Inn is a perfect venue for a wedding teeming with luxury, nature, and adventure.

The morning was filled with excitement and anticipation as Kristina and Casey prepared for a one and a half hour hike to Butterfly Falls, where the ceremony took place. After a few hours, friends and family strapped on their tennis shoes, grabbed their walking sticks and began their trek along the meandering trail through the broadleaf jungle. The labyrinth of wild flowers and tree-roots arching in and out of the ground did not stop the gorgeous bride from looking effortlessly glamorous. Who doesn’t love a flawless hair and make-up look with black-laced hiking boots?

As the faint rumbling of the waterfall grew closer, it was almost time for the ceremony to begin. Kristina changed from adventure-chic to elegant bride, her dress trailing gracefully along the forest floor. Casey rocked a sharp blue tuxedo, bright against the shimmering backdrop of crystal clear water. After several moments of tears, laughter, and “I dos”, Kristina and Casey had officially begun their life together in one of the most magical places on earth.

The sound of birds chirping sweetened the air, as everyone slowly made their way back to the lodge, snapping a few more wedding photos along bridges, dirt roads, and mountain tops. After the sun fell into the soaring canopies below, it was time for an evening filled with decadent local cuisine, candlelit speeches, and plenty of champagne. It was a day that Kristina and Casey will remember for the rest of their lives.
