From local tapestry, customised tee’s to twinkling lights, every detail was crafted and executed perfectly. On the eve of Lupita and Michael’s wedding day, the party crew touched down on Ray Caye’s vast, porcelain-white shores. You know it’s going to be an epic wedding when the star couple already had us gushing over the pre-wedding dining room set-up. The table scape, located in an outdoor seaside palapa, was designed with rich earth tones, giving us enchanted jungle feels. A shimmering linen covered the surface of the table, with dried, woven palm tree leaves as placemats and soft candles in the centre. A gorgeous chandelier made from giant palm tree leaves and birds of paradise hung from the ceiling, as the sun-kissed group of friends and family enjoyed a delicious local meal graced with a beachside sunset.
Lupita’s stunning deep-v gown with a lace-up back swayed gently in the morning light, cascading down from the entrance of the dock made with local Caribbean bark. The two young flower girls captured our hearts in the early a.m, with matching white gowns and pastel rose crowns. Of course, the first glance between the bride and the groom gave everyone that classic, fairytale magic, captured beautifully by LMP Studios. Michael was dressed in sky grey and vanilla, complimenting Lupita’s cloud-like elegance. The bride and groom’s vision of the altar was inspired by classic romance blended with a modern twist, with pastel hues that graced the floral arrangements blooming along the sides of the altar. No photos were allowed to be taken during the ceremony, creating a pristine, organic, in-the-moment atmosphere for the long awaited vows.
It’s almost impossible to choose a favourite part of the wedding, as the day continued with ethereal decor, endless laughs, and food that was to die for. The dinner table was draped in fresh white linens, with a glistening pink table runner and romantic bouquets of pastel roses. At the head of the table, we arranged a backdrop adorned with overflowing greenery and the names “Mike & Lupita” in bold calligraphy. A stream of icicle lights floated overhead, swaying among the shifting colours of the vast ocean and sky. The dinner menu consisted of the finest local food, including smoked lobster tail with creamy herb buerre blanc, paired with wilted spinach and ginger saffron arborio rice. From fireworks, pool dips, cake-cutting, to an epic seaside dance floor beneath starry lights, we couldn’t have imagined a more magical way to celebrate the start of a lifetime together.
